The extreme abrasion resistance of the inner layer is based on the special positioning of ceramic plates (Al2O3) in the inner layer of the hose.

Compared to conventional rubber conveyor hoses or rubber-lined metal pipes, the service life is many times longer.
Inner layer
Ceramic plates (Al2O3) embedded in black antistatic rubber
Reinforcement
Textile inserts and steel spiral (minimum burst pressure = 3.2 times working pressure)
Outer layer
EPDM, black, antistatic, abrasion, ozone and UV resistant
Operating temperature
-40°C bis +120°C
(Higher temperature requirements by prior technical agreement.)
Special features
A signalling cable integrated into the hose wall is led out at both ends of the hose. With the appropriate connection, this cable acts as a signalling device when the critical level of wear in the inner layer of the hose is reached.
Hose dimensions
Even with the ceramic discs in the inner layer, ceratel® 5910 has a very small bending radius compared to conventional conveying hoses.
Wear Monitoring / Connection Techniques
Precise wear monitoring systems and robust GRANIT couplings.
Wear monitoring systems
Our ET Easy Box and controtel wear monitoring systems are highly effective in the early detection of wear. The ET Easy Box provides a user-friendly solution, while controtel offers advanced technology.
GRANIT couplings
Seamless integration for optimum performance. Our GRANIT Select and GRANIT Plus couplings ensure perfect interaction with ceratel® 5910 hoses.
